Eddie is the Community Based Inclusive Development Regional Advisor at the Norwegian Association of Disabled based in NAD’s Zambia Country Office in Lusaka.
He has been working in development for over 25 years,12 of which have been in CBR/CBID. He has been a major contributor to the development of the Zambia CBR/CBID programme. He has also been instrumental in establishing more than 90 District CBR/CBID networks in Zambia, and supported the establishment of networks in NAD Country offices - Uganda and Zanzibar.
Eddie is an International Advisory Board General Member elected by CAN’s General Assembly. Through his CAN role he has been taking a lead in establishing CBR/CBID networks in Africa starting with Niger,Cameroon,Kenya and South Sudan. He has also run trainings in establishing CBR/CBID Networks in collaboration with CAN both online and at the CAN Conference in Uganda in 2024
