Ngirabakunzi Edson is the Country Director at NAD-Uganda. He has worked in the disability movement for more than 20 years. He is a human rights scholar and disability rights expert with vast experience in influencing disability inclusive policies across sectors. He holds several professional qualifications in leadership and corporate governance, human resource management and programme management. Ngirabakunzi has held senior leadership positions in disability sector as well as in public sector. Prior to joining NAD, Ngirabakunzi was Chief Executive Officer at the National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU). He has served on both public and NGO Boards in Uganda including Uganda Communications Commission, Uganda National Cultural Centre and Uganda National NGO Forum. He holds a master’s degree in human rights.
